Having never owned a base layer or shopped at Aztec Diamond Equestrian I was super excited to get my first ever base layer. Costing £40 each it is pretty pricey for my budget, however I would say it is worth every single penny. Ordering a size medium (I’m a size 12) the base layer fitted perfectly, clinging very close to the skin so there is no bagginess at all. When riding and doing jobs on the yard I found that it kept me warm when needed in the cold weather, and when I began to get a little warmer whilst riding I found that the air ventilation down the sides helped me keep cool whilst being active.

The detail is also just beautiful, it is simple and elegant, with small details down both arms and with the Aztec Diamond Equestrian logo on the back, the base layer is a simple and elegant piece and I find it perfect for the winter months, as well as looking fashionable for all other times of the year. It also arrived very quickly and in good condition so there were no faults there, I am now excited to buy more from them such as their riding leggings which come in the same colours as the base layer, perfect for creating those mix and match combos.
